First impressions are the ones that last, so sewing is not just an interaction between fabric and machine, but knowing how to sew so that everything turns out perfect as it should; with calm, attention, and perseverance, we can achieve that perfect stitch.
This time I am going to teach you how to sew. Shall we?

Before sewing, we will need:
- 2.5m x 1.50m of fabric.
- 30cm x 1.50m of fabric for lining.
- 1 spool of all-purpose sewing thread in a matching color.
- 1 spool of all-purpose sewing thread in a contrasting color for pattern marking.
- 50 cm of medium weight fusible interfacing.
- 1 18cm trouser zipper.
- 1 trouser hook and eye fastener.
The trousers have a flat front, a front zipper opening, and slightly tapered legs. They feature slanted pockets at the hip and a waistband that sits just below the body's natural waistline.
History of Classic Tailored Trousers
Classic tailored trousers have a rich history dating back to the late Middle Ages, between the 12th and 14th centuries. This art of crafting bespoke clothing flourished in medieval Europe, where tailors created garments for the nobility and the upper bourgeoisie. Clothes were made to measure and reflected the individual's social status. Over time, tailoring evolved and became a symbol of elegance and status, influencing men's and women's fashion throughout the centuries.
Women's tailored trousers, for example, are a classic piece that never goes out of style. Their origin dates back to past decades, when women's clothing began to adopt more sophisticated cuts and silhouettes. Women's tailored trousers are synonymous with elegance and versatility, gaining more and more space in the modern woman's wardrobe.
